I want to thank Shamaira, for allowing me to interview her.. she is a wonderful Christian Author. and I ask God’s blessings on her and her work. So Please join in and pray for her.
Now for the Interview

“Shamaira, tell me about yourself where were you born and explain the town etc. and where do you live now?”

“Well Debbie, I was born in Tucson, Arizona. I then moved with my family to Norfolk Virginia in 1999. I met my wonderful husband in 2001, and we had our beautiful boy in 2004.”

“Shamaira, tell me about your writing, why do you like it so much?”

“Debbie, I realized back in the second grade that writing was my favorite thing to do. I actually loved writing book reports and making up stories in my school years! For as long as I can remember, I have always written poems about events and situations I have experienced in life. I like writing so much because it gives me an outlet to express myself, uninterrupted. Plus, I like the fact that when something is in writing, if you missed anything, you can go back over it as many times as you may need to; unlike in a verbal conversation.”

“Shamaira, where do you get your inspiration from?”
“Debbie, before my current book, I would get my inspiration from people I have met and the stories that they hold. I also pull it in from the world around me; like nature, animals, the water and the sky. But for my current book series, I uniquely got the inspiration for that from a divine encounter with the Lord.”

“Shamaira, who inspires you, who are your favorite authors?”

“Debbie, The ‘who’ that inspires me is…actually me! I say that because of my personal relationship with our God. I see the wonderful plan he has for this book series, and I’m proud to be a part of changing lives for the Lord. The powerful messages that these books contain, inspire me to want to keep writing for all the world to learn more about God’s love for us. I admire all authors; I don’t choose to pick a favorite. Even the bible had many authors, so I believe that all authors are talented in their own way. You have to be gifted to have the diligence it takes to write a book of any kind.”

“Shamaira, have you written any books? If you have, tell us all about it.”

“Debbie, Yes I have! The book that I currently have on the market is called The Childlike Mother-A rebirth in a mid-life crisis. It is a story of a woman’s turmoil with her past, while trying to survive in her current life now. Unknown to her, reality comes knocking, and drawls her into the question: Do you need to be reborn? This book (and all the others to come in the series) is based around a question within a statement: At this point, no matter what age you are, this is the middle of your life…Do you need to be reborn? The meaning of these books is to show the world that God loves you, no matter what hand you have been dealt. These creative stories blend biblical truths into today’s modern society, in a way that is easy to understand, and forces you to look at your own life and ask yourself the exact same question: Do you need to be reborn?”

.
“Shamaira, tell me about your writing style.”

“Debbie, I actually do not know. I don’t have an answer for that yet. I have five more books that I’m trying to get out of my head and onto pages. I guess in time I will have a better answer.”

“Shamaira, Give some advice to new writers .!”

“Debbie, To all new writers I would say, keep your focus, because at one point in time, WE ALL started out as ‘new writers.’ The most important thing you need to do is complete your work; because even if no one else likes it, it’s still a goal that is all your own, and you should be proud of yourself for achieving that!”

“Shamaira, tell me about something personal about you.”

“Debbie, Something personal about me…hum… Well, I am a kindhearted peacemaker. I care deeply about everything; from every human, to every grain of sand. I know it may be extreme, but that’s just me. I’m NOTW (That’s Christian for Not of This World; for anyone who doesn’t know).”

“Shamaira, Tell me about your favorite bands. Music,”

“Debbie, I actually love all kinds of music; country, gospel, pop, jazz, classical, contemporary and oldies. I like the jazz band Incognito, and I love CeeCee Winans and Yolanda Adams. They are the first ones that come to mind.”

“Shamaira, what is your favorite thing in the world to do?”

“Debbie, My favorite thing to do in life is to find a quiet spot in nature to Sit as the sun goes down on another day, and feel the wind on my face, and praise God for a current moment of wonderful peace, to admire this beautiful land we live in.”

“Shamaira, that was so beautiful, I love that answer.. have you got to travel and if so what is your favorite place in the world? “

“Debbie, I have traveled almost everywhere in the United States only. My favorite state that I have been to is Texas because it has a large mix and variety of nature and weather there. I think if I ever visit Hawaii, that answer will quickly change though!”

“Shamaira, What is your favorite book you have wrote about?”

“Debbie, My favorite book so far is my book that I am still working on called The E. Book-a book for parents of children with special needs. It’s not even halfway done yet, but I can already see how it is going to help out a lot of parents.”

“Shamaira, Do you like to write poems or stories best?

“Debbie, That Is a very good question! I write poems, but turn them into beautiful songs; so that has its purpose, short but sweet. And, I love writing stories because they’re helpful for life, and they are quite interesting; so that has a purpose, helpful and in writing. I guess ill have to say I like poems best because they are short, but stories more because they are an accomplishment for both the reader and the writer when they are done.”

“Shamaira, What are your favorite thoughts?

“Debbie, My favorite thoughts are of the world coming to know the truth about why we are here, and what we need to be doing. The thought of how that would change each person for the better warms my heart. My number one favorite thoughts are of my home and tasting my favorite food (since I love to eat) that I will have one day in Heaven. I look forward to it being the best of the best (NOTW)!”

“Shamaira, give me a short bio.. .

Some people may be too busy to give God more than a short prayer, whenever the situation calls for it. Going to church every other Sunday could be enough for you, but have you ever stopped to think,
is it enough, for God?

Like everyone else, I have made mistakes here and there; but I’ve grown to realize, that it has
taken those exact mistakes & experiences, to help me fall into the perfect plan that God had for me all along.

One day in particular, the course of my life took a drastic turn. I was rushing around for a second job interview, when all of the sudden, I heard a voice inside of me saying “why won’t you do it?” It started out small at first, but the more I tried to ignore it, it only got louder. I dropped what I was doing, got down on my knees, and asked, “Yes Lord? I hear you, and I’m listening! What is it you want me to do?”

At that moment, I heard the Lord speak to me. It was tremendously special because in that instant, I received divine instructions from him to begin writing this amazing new book series! I’ve learned to be receptive & listen to the Lord in all things, and
I will happily declare the word of God for all time!

To show his love Jesus died for me; to show my love, I must live for him

*LIVE AS IF YOU CAN SEE GOD WATCHING YOU!* -Amen
